Below you’ll find the answers to some of the questions we get asked the most about applying to LIFT
LIFT is 100% virtual, delivered over a 4-week period, and can be accessed conveniently. We don’t want to take you away from your customers or day-to-day business!
Early-stage Nigerian businesses within the Food & Hospitality, Agriculture, Beauty, Fashion, or FMCG/Retail sectors.
LIFT is a mini-accelerator program. Think of it as a surefire pathway to business growth. What is however unique about LIFT is that we continue to stay with you and support your business throughout the growth journey.
This varies from cohort to cohort, however, we are incrementally impacting businesses via the LIFT Program. This number is also dependent on the number of applications we receive.
You can apply to join here. If all the relevant information is available, it shouldn’t take you more than an hour to complete. The deadline to apply is August x*, 2021.
Selection will take three weeks, after which we will reach out to successful participants to join the program.
The next cohort starts in September 2021. The next cohort after that will be in 2022, please look out for relevant details.
Zero. Zilch. Nada. LIFT is completely free to join...but it’ll cost you a lot more than money! It is very intensive, so prepare to commit your time, thinking hats, and energy!
LIFT runs for four weeks; four weeks to learn, gain clarity through coaching and build strong networks. We are committed to making the program a valuable experience for your business and we expect the same level of commitment from you.
Our program is free of charge and there are no strings attached. However, the more present, committed, and engaged you are during and after the program, the greater the outcome for your business will be in the end. We also encourage, and expect you to become an active part of the LIFT community for your advantage.
Your business’s specific results will vary. However, we encourage you to set measurable goals for your business so that the learning and coaching efforts can be validated.
LIFT learning content covers four main pillars for running and growing a successful business: Strategy, Sales & Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
Not exactly. The majority of the lessons will be taken independently online as individuals, and live classes as a cohort, however, there would be a learning timetable to adhere to.
At the Pitch Day, top 10 program participants (based on predetermined criteria) can access up to x* million in grants and low-interest loans. You can however apply for funding up to x* million after the program.
LIFT Pitch Day will be held in x* 2021. This event gives LIFT program participants the chance to present Capstone Project (business and financial models) pitches and make a compelling business case to a panel of judges.
LIFT coaches are true experts in their field. Every coach is carefully vetted by our programs team and onboarded to ensure they understand our culture and standards. They will do their best to guide and advise you on how to make your business growth most realisable and sustainable..
Short answer: we will continue to be a resource and support system to you and your business as you grow! You will become a member of the LIFT Community which provides you with lifelong access to tailored business support, engagement with fellow program alumni, and learning opportunities.
